| After winning the World Series with the Boston Red Sox last year, he decided he wanted to come to New York this year. Jacoby Ellsbury came from Massachusetts to New York. He is very happy to play along with Derek Jeter and the rest of the gang. Sadly Derek Jeter is leaving this year, but Jacoby could help to lead the team next year. The question is who is going to be the the Yankees leadoff hitter?
The Yankees lost two great players, Robinson Cano and Curtis Granderson. In recieve to that trade they got Carlos Beltran and Jacoby Ellsbury. The Yankees need to know where they are going to put their outfielders. They have Jacoby Ellsbury, Carlos Beltran, Brett Gardner, and Ichiro Suzuki. 4 great outfielders, but only 3 outfield spots. I think the Yankees might keep Brett Gardner as a designated hitter. They could have Jacoby in centerfield, Carlos in rightfield, and Ichiro in leftfield.
